The talented Angelica López and the winner of last years Global 12 Festival provides a perfect example of how music artists can align their campaigns with worthwhile / charitable causes.

This past December she hosted a tropical Christmas party where 50p from every sold ticket went towards supporting ‘Children Change Colombia’.

This is the largest UK charity which works exclusively in Colombia. They support children and families to challenge inequality, violence and discrimination. Many children in Columbia still live in poverty and are excluded from society. Some of the issues they address include denied education and sexual exploitation. Their aim is to help families understand their rights and gain the confidence to pursue them for the benefit of their community as a whole.

The event which took place was the most tropical party of the season. She was joined by many fans and members of the Te Amo Columbia movement.

With many drinks to go around , a live band and amazing food it was a day to remember!
